This weekend is the celebration of Pentecost in the Catholic Church. We remember the way the spirit infuses the world, making new things always possible, bringing the blessings and favor on those who will follow and be open.

It’s also a cool astrological weekend. With the sun coming into a direct conjunction with the planet Jupiter. The sun brings all of its vitality to Jupiters aspects of abundance, expansion and good fortune.

I love the duality here. We have the Holy Spirit from Catholic tradition, who blows where she well blows where she may, who always is with an abiding with the earth. For me, it is a more feminine aspect of divinity. We also have the sun and Jupiter – two of the most masculine aspects – linear, steady, disciplined.

As a paradox person, I am totally here for it.
